After graduating from Plymouth College of Art with a BA in Graphic Design in 2009, I started work at Resurgence, the UK's longest running independent environmental magazine. I design the bimonthly magazine, all the marketing materials, and also oversee the picture research. Since 2009 I have helped the magazine to evolve: keeping the uncluttered and classic feel of the magazine that the readers love, but subtly updating the design and introducing some stunning artwork by developing direct links with some amazing artists and illustrators.

Although I spend most of my time working at Resurgence, I have continued a busy freelance graphic design practice, mainly working with Olijam Communications to provide branding and marketing materials for local businesses. I also design the quarterly magazine Moor Links.

Being self-employed for over 15 years means that I have developed excellent communication and time management skills. In plain speaking, this means that I have never missed a print deadline and my clients enjoy working with me. In 2007 and 2009 I received the Logo Design Award for my achievements at Plymouth College of Art.
